It indeed a striking succulent that can grow quite large, often forming a single, impressive rosette, but it can also develop multiple heads (offsets/pups) over time, especially with proper care. It has single Head double heads or multi-headed with thick, spoon-shaped, slightly ruffled edges leaves.
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or partial sun. Too much direct sunlight can cause sunburn, while too little leads to etiolation (stretching).
- Water: Water deeply but infrequently (soak-and-dry method). Allow soil to dry completely between waterings.
- Soil: Requires well-draining soil (cactus/succulent mix with perlite or pumice).
- Temperature: Thrives in mild climates (USDA zones 9-11). Protect from frost (temps below 30°F/-1°C can damage it).
