You can make your well-drained potting mix or buy professional ready-to-use soil for succulents. Choose the right size pot with drainage holes. You should know the soil is moist enough once the water runs out of the holes when watering.

Watering: Haworthiopsis fasciata is a succulent very suitable for beginners. They are easy to grow, preferring a well-draining soil mix.
