About Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg'
Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg' is an enchantingly ornamental hybrid of Echeveria Gibbiflora v. Metallica and Echeveria Potosi, which becomes one of the most popular succulent plant collections. The foliage is spatulate-shaped with a tiny pointed triangle on the tip. The surface is smooth, whorled, and arranged into a rosette of leaf discs. The leaves and its edge are beautiful pink-purple in Winter and Spring, which adds to the plants' appeal.
How to care for Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg'
Sun/Location: Its appropriate growth temperature is 59F-77F, not lower than 41F in winter. Pay attention to shade in scorching summer because Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg' is intolerant of direct hot sunlight. Move indoors in winter to a sunny place for maintenance
Soil/Pot: Perle von Nürnberg gets sick without ventilated environment. Peat moss, vermiculite, and perlite are generally added to the succulent soil mix. The right amount of crushed bones is an extra addition to the preparation. The potting soil is usually changed every two years. The succulent roots need to be trimmed to better adapt to the environment when changing pots.
Watering: The water demand is not much, watering thoroughly when the succulent soil is bone dry during the growing period. Watering should be moderate in addition to shade in Summer. When the air is dry, sprinkle water around the plant, not to the foliage and leaf center.
