About Echeveria Psyche
Echeveria Psyche, a unique Korean hybrid succulent of E. Ebony x tolimanensis, features smooth, greyish-green leaves. These leaves are flat on the front and have triangular-shaped protrusions on the back, covered with clear lines. The leaves turn orange-brown when stressed.
How to care for Echeveria Psyche
Sun/Location: Like most Echeverias, Echeveria Psyche requires indirect bright sunlight to maintain its color and shape form. It can be placed outdoors in spring and fall to get full sunlight. Shade is required in summer to avoid sunburn. In winter, protection from frost is needed. Click here to learn about Succulent Summer Care.
Soil/Pot: To ensure the health of succulents, they need a porous, well-draining cactus soil mix to live in. To create an adequate cactus mix, add pumice, perlite, or gritty rocks to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.
Watering: Succulents require little watering but don't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak-and-dry method. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry.
