Sun/Location: This succulent plant originates from the desert and needs a lot of sunlight to keep growing. In warm areas, outdoor care of Pine Cone Cactus is ideal. As it is not hardy, move the succulent indoors in winter to prevent frost.
Soil/Pot: Like most cactus plants, Tephrocactus articulatus var. inermis need well-drained soil to grow well. Potting soil mix for cacti is ideal for the cactus variety. Keep in mind to care for cactus in a planter pot with a drainage hole that can prevent overwatering.
